This harness will fix the flickering light issue that is known on most European cars (BMW/BENZ/AUDI/VOLVO/VW) and now it is occur on some American cars (CHRYSLER/DODGE/JEEP). The reason behind this is due to halogen bulb being 55W and HID Kit being 35W. When an HID kit is installed into the vehicle, the cars ECU detect the lights running at 35W instead of the normal 55W. Two things will happen when it detect this. The first, when running at 35W, the ECU thinks the light bulb on one side is broken and cut down on the power it sends to the headlight, causing the HID to flicker because there is not enough power. Secondly, it will cause a headlight error light on the dash because it think 1 side of the headlight is broken. One or both of these issue will occur.
This item comes with both devices as pictured to be added to each side of the HID system. It is installed between the vehicle headlight harness and the HID kit in order to fix the strobing problem and convert the 35W current of the HID kit into 55W before detection by the main computer. This harness is safe and will not damage any ECU or electrical wiring.
In order for the Warning Canceller Harness to work, the HID Kit on the car must have a Relay Wire Harness present (be connected to the battery, with fuses and relays). Please make sure that if you do not have the wiring harness already that you add it to your cart at checkout.
